Faculty of International Economics is one of the five main faculties of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam with a long history of development. Throughout its formation and development, the Faculty has consistently been acknowledged for its high-quality training in the field of International Economics within the country.

HISTORY OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Established in 1977 with the primary mission of training foreign economic officials for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies, the Faculty of International Economics at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam was the first institution authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training to offer training programs in International Economics in Vietnam.
Currently, in order to address the growing demand for skilled professionals amidst Vietnam’s rapid development and active participation in international economic integration, the Faculty not only focuses on training officials for Vietnam's political but also endeavors to train high-quality human resources for businesses, corporations and companies in various fields, especially multinational corporations and foreign-invested enterprises.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The Faculty of International Economics currently trains two main majors: International Economics and International Business. Continuously focusing on modernizing its curriculum and innovating teaching methods, the Faculty aims to equip learners with fundamental knowledge, essential skills, and highly relevant learning materials, thereby helping them build a solid foundation and develop logical and creative economic reasoning.

FACULTY MEMBERS
The faculty members of the Faculty of International Economics are esteemed professionals. They possess advanced training at prestigious universities worldwide, including, but not limited to, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, China, and Japan. In addition, these faculty members also bring extensive practical experience to their roles, with many having previously held help positions in both domestic and international banks. A number of faculty members have served as Ambassadors and Counselors at embassies abroad for many years.
