DAV Graduation Ceremony for Students of Regular University Program - Batch 46 (Period 2019-2023)

On the morning of July 1st, 2023, at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the Graduation Ceremony for Students of Regular University Program - Batch 46 (Period 2019-2023) took place with the presence of leaders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Academy, officials, lecturers, and all students of batch 46.

On July 1st, under the guidance of DAV leaders, the Student Affairs Office, in coordination with the DAV Student Association, organized the Graduation Ceremony for Students of Regular University Program - Batch 46 (Period 2019-2023).

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet; DAV Acting President, Dr. Pham Lan Dung; Director-General of the Depatment of Education and Training, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin; Director-General of the Training and Recruitment Office - Personnel and Organization Department, Trinh Thi Thu Ha; as well as leaders of Departments, and officials, and lecturers currently working in the Institutes, Departments, Offices, Faculties of the Academy. In this significant event, relatives and friends of the new graduates of batch 46 also attended to share the joyful atmosphere.

In her opening speech, DAV Acting President - Dr. Pham Lan Dung, expressed her pride and conveyed beautiful wishes to the new graduates. Dr. Pham Lan Dung shared that: 'Those of 46th batch are the first students I have overseen as the Academy's Acting President, and I have witnessed your growth. The four-year journey has not been easy, but I believe you have had four memorable years of learning new knowledge, enriching deeper life experiences, and nurturing your relationships with teachers, friends. What you have gained after a journey of study and development at the Academy will help you mature, be more tolerant, and accept differences. I am truly proud of the students with the mindset and demeanor of diplomats, possessing knowledge, skills, and always full of enthusiasm. I hope that after becoming new graduates and joining the DAV Network of Alumni, you will continue to strive for learning, dedicate yourselves, and contribute to beautifying Vietnam and the tradition of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam'.

Following that, Director-General of  Department of Education and Training - Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin read the Decision on Graduation Recognition (Turn 1) for over 400 students from Batch 46 majoring in English Language, International Communication, International Economics, International Relations, and International Law. This decision marks a significant moment for the Batch 46 students as they officially become Bachelor's graduates, embarking on a new journey filled with new experiences and challenges.

Continuing the joyful atmosphere of the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet - also a DAV alumnus - shared his joy and encouragement with the new graduates of Batch 46. "You don't have to be the best, just be the best version of yourself." - He emphasized his belief that the Batch 46 graduates will be a generation of more professional, confident, dynamic, comprehensive diplomats who are eager to learning. The Deputy Minister hopes that, regardless of the field they choose to work in, they will create positive values for themselves, their families, and society.

The representative of Batch 46 valedictorians, Tran Ha Phuong from class TT46E, and the representative of Batch 46 Laos exchange students, Thidalath Ly from class CT46A, expressed their thoughts and gratitude to the teachers, friends, and everyone who accompanied them throughout their meaningful years of study at the Academy.

This year, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam is delighted to have 5 valedictorians:

  • Valedictorian for International Communication - Tran Ha Phuong.
  • Valedictorian for English Language - Le Nguyen Van Trang.
  • Valedictorian for International Law - Pham Tan Loc.
  • Valedictorian for International Economics - Tran Duc Manh.
  • Valedictorian for International Relations - Tran Le Quynh Mai.

Additionally, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam congratulates 44 students who graduated with the "Excellent" type of degree.

Not only did the students of batch 46 excel in their academic tasks, but they also actively participated in organizing numerous extracurricular programs, events, competitions, and fostering a vibrant scientific research movement. During this ceremony, the Academy awarded Certificates of Merit to 65 students who achieved the titles of Outstanding Students in community activities and Outstanding Students in scientific research.

Next, in the most anticipated part of the ceremony, the Deans of Faculties, representing their faculties and staff of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, took the stage to confer degrees and deliver congratulatory letters from the Director to the new graduates of batch 46. The students of batch 46 then went on stage to receive their bachelor's degrees, exchanging warm embraces and preserving beautiful moments with their teachers.

 
 

The Graduation Ceremony was successfully organized. The Academy hopes that the students of batch 46 have had memorable moments and precious experiences with lecturers, family, and friends.
