Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin appointed Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam

Attending the decision awarding ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Minh Vu - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee; Comrade Tran Ngoc An - Director General of the Personnel and Organization Department; Comrade Nguyen Hoai Nam - Director General, Chief of the Office of the Ministry and Heads of relevant units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son awarded the decision to appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Thin - Director General of Department of Education and Training, Diplomatic Academy to the position of Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam.

Minister Bui Thanh Son handed over the decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Doan Phuong Lan - Acting Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department to hold the position of Director General of the Economic Affairs Department.

Minister Bui Thanh Son awarded the decision to appoint Ms. Pham Thu Hang - Acting Director General of the Press and Information Department to hold the position of Director General of the Press and Information Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son congratulated the officers appointed to new positions. At the same time, he affirmed that this is the confidence of the Ministry’s Party Committee in the capacity and work experience of the officials. The Minister emphasized that the entire foreign affairs sector continues to drastically implement the foreign policy according to the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, strongly promoting its pioneering role, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for the development of the country, thereby enhancing the country's position and reputation in the international arena.

Assigning specific tasks to each officer, the Minister hopes that the officers appointed to new positions will continue to make their best efforts, promote their abilities, strengths, and spirit of initiative, commitment, and coordination; coordinate well with related units to successfully complete the pioneering task of paving the way, accompanying and serving the interests of people, localities and businesses in international integration; build a clean, comprehensive and modern diplomatic sector.

The newly appointed officials expressed their honor when trusted by Minister Bui Thanh Son and the Ministry’s Party Committee to assign new tasks; affirming that together with the entire unit, they will do their best, in the spirit of service, continue to innovate working methods, complete the assigned work, worthy of the trust of the Minister and the Leadership team.
