Ambassador, Dr. Pham Lan Dung, Acting President of the DAV received Turkish Ambassador to Viet Nam, H.E. Korhan Kemik

The meeting was attended by representatives from various units of DAV, including: the Foreign Service Training Center (FOSET), the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies, the East Sea Institute, and the External Relations Division.

Dr. Pham Lan Dung welcomed Ambassador Korhan Kemik to DAV and wished him a successful tenure in Viet Nam. She expressed the hope that DAV and the Turkish Embassy in Hanoi would continue to develop diverse collaborative activities, contributing to the promotion of friendly relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Korhan Kemik expressed gratitude for the warm reception at DAV and expressed the desire to maintain and enhance the excellent cooperative relationship between the Turkish Embassy in Hanoi and DAV, as well as between the two nations. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation in various fields, particularly in education, training and research.

During the meeting, both sides discussed international and regionally relevant issues and proposed potential collaborative activities for the future. These activities include faculty and student exchanges between DAV and Turkish universities and research institutions, organizing  internships for DAV students at the Turkish Embassy, and inviting Ambassador Korhan Kemik to participate in teaching and lecturing for students and junior diplomats, as well as engaging in international conferences organized by DAV in the coming period./.
