Throughout multiple rounds - from preliminary rounds, qualifiers, and semi-finals to the final - participants had the opportunity to develop regional knowledge, critical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and creative skills, with guidance and support from the Organizing Committee and distinguished judges with expertise in relevant fields. Over the years, Way of Wind has not only expanded contestants’ knowledge but also nurtured a generation of confident, culturally aware youth ready to contribute to the shared future of Southeast Asian nations.
The 2025 season, themed “Preserving Southeast Asian Traditional Performing Arts”, spanned nearly two months, leading contestants through challenging and enriching rounds. After three stages - the preliminary round “Opening Drumbeat”, the qualifier “Artistic Forms”, and the semi-final “Echoes of Heritage” - Way of Wind 2025 concluded with the emotional Final Night “Imprint of Tradition” on November 16, 2025. Surpassing three other strong teams, Pizza 4S emerged as the champion with their project “The Soul of Khon”, dedicated to preserving and promoting the Thai Khon dance, marking a proud achievement at the end of the competition’s nearly two-month journey.
The Final Night featured a vibrant, dazzling stage where each performance was not only a showcase but also a culmination of knowledge, creativity, and dedication. Teams offered fresh perspectives on Southeast Asian culture at every stage - from in-depth research and refined artistic presentation to the heartfelt passion of young minds eager to explore and preserve the invaluable heritage of traditional performing arts. Each performance acted as a “gust of wind,” igniting connection, pride, and appreciation for Southeast Asia - a land of diversity, harmony, and innovation.
Way of Wind 2025 was not just a contest to determine the winner; it was a journey for each contestant to leave their mark through knowledge, teamwork, and meaningful experiences. Every moment of debate, every smile of victory, and even the tensest seconds contributed to a truly memorable season.
The Organizing Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the Top 4 teams and all participants who accompanied us throughout the season. You are the winds carrying knowledge, creativity, and passion, continuing to broaden understanding and spread love for Southeast Asian culture. We hope that every idea and effort from this season will become a source of motivation for the journeys that lie ahead.
