FIPAD Lecturer and students attend Dr. B.R.Ambedkar's Birth Anniversary celebration an Harvest Festival

On the morning of April 15, Dr. Nguyen Phu Tan Huong and 10 students from the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy represented the Diplomatic Academy to attend the celebration of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar's birth anniversary and the Harvest Festival organized by the Embassy of India at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) Ha Noi.

At the ceremony, Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam Sandeep Arya gave a memorial speech on the great contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, especially as the one who laid the foundation for the modern Indian Constitution and supported the revitalization of Buddhism, which promoted elimination inequality, economic development and education in Indian society. Simultaneously, Mr. Ambassador also expressed his desire to convey positive messages about bountiful harvests, warm and happy lives that the traditional holiday on New Year's Day of the Indian people - the festival of Harvest.

Within the framework of the event, cultural exchange activities such as Yoga performance of trainees from Viet Nam Women's Museum, traditional Indian dance and singing of the Indian community in Viet Nam brought a warm and joyful atmosphere. The ceremony left a deep impression, spreading the cultural features of India and strengthening the affection between the two peoples and diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and India.
