Admissions Counselling and French Language Experience Program at Diplomatic Academy

On the morning of the 14th of April 2024, as part of the DAV Open House 2024 program, the French Faculty convened an Admissions Counselling and French Language Experience session at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, attended by a considerable number of parents and high school students throughout the Northern region.

The program took place in a lively and dynamic atmosphere, providing students with valuable admissions advice regarding the academic disciplines offered at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, as well as the French language program at the Academy.

As part of the program, students participated in a session with the French Faculty to engage in discussions and receive insights from the leadership and faculty members at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. They also had the opportunity to interact with talented Francophone students and enjoy exceptional cultural performances. Furthermore, the experiential French language classes conducted by teachers were met with enthusiasm and active participation from the students.

Students had the opportunity to receive advice and insights from experienced faculty members of the French Faculty, gaining authentic experiences of the French language program at the school. Nguyen Ba Hoang Thai, a student from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, shared his enthusiasm and said: “Today, I feel very excited and delighted to participate in the series of admission counselling activities organized by the French Faculty. The teachers are very enthusiastic and dedicated to sharing information and advising me on the French language program at the Academy. This helps me feel more determined in my choice to apply to the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and become a Francophone student!".

Additionally, they participated in the "Alice au Pays des merveilles" - "Alice in Wonderland" activity. In this activity, students transformed into characters from Alice who wandered into "Wonderland," exploring and experiencing the facilities, teaching equipment, and constructions of the French Faculty of Diplomatic Academy.

At the end of the program, high school students received special souvenir gifts, including exclusive publications from the French Faculty of Diplomatic Academy, as a way to cherish the beautiful memories of participating in the admission counselling activities and meaningful French language experiences at the program./
