Faculty of International Economics won the Excellence award in "Understanding Mekong - Lancang Cooperation 2023"

The competition to learn about the Mekong River is an annual activity to respond to Mekong Week, as well as help the young generation gain more understanding and knowledge about the Mekong - Lancang region and the cooperation between countries in the region; create a playground for universities to interact, exchange knowledge, practice skills, and share the young generation's opinions on the question "To promote cooperation and development in the Mekong Mekong region, in the coming time, what areas of cooperation should countries in the region prioritize ?” After a period of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this time the competition has returned with the attention of nearly 400 students from three universities. In addition, the competition was honored to welcome Mr. Miao Weicheng, Minister Counselor, Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Ms. Nguyen Bich Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Vice-Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Lich, Former Dean of the Faculty of International Economics, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam; Dr. Luu Thuy Hong, Deputy Dean of International Relations Department, Academy of Journalism and Communication; and many experts studying International Relations from major universities in Hanoi.

Coming to the competition with careful preparation, professional and confident demeanor, and quality answers, students from the Faculty of International Economics - Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam received high appreciation from representatives, as well as judges. This shows the seriousness, eagerness to learn, and passion for researching of the students. Sharing about the journey to participate in this competition, the team from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam emphasized team spirit and wanted to spread the image of "dynamic - creative - visionary" Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam students, especially the enthusiastic support from Mr. Nguyen Van Lich, Ms. Nguyen Minh Trang and other teachers and students in the department have encouraged and energized the team to accomplish this achievement.

The Faculty of International Economics would like to congratulate the team for successfully completing the exam, becoming the pride of the Faculty, and providing great motivation and inspiration to other students in the Faculty to actively participate in research activities and useful, interesting competitions.
