The Education and Training Department - Students’ Affairs Office announces the Internship Program, Academic Year 2025 - 2026 at the Embassy of Vietnam in Australia for students of Cohorts K49 - K50 as follows:
- General Requirements: Third- or fourth-year students with strong English proficiency.
- Job Description:
Provide online support for assigned tasks such as summarizing news upon request; transcribing conferences, seminars, and roundtables; and producing communication products on ASEAN when the Embassy assumes the Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Canberra in 2026. - Number of Interns: 07 students:
- 02 students majoring in International Relations
- 02 students majoring in Asia–Pacific Studies
- 01 student majoring in International Law
- 01 student majoring in International Economics
- 01 student majoring in International Communication to support communication products when required
- Internship Duration: 04 months (expected from November 2025 to the end of February 2026).
- For tasks such as news summaries and transcription of conferences and seminars, students may begin working immediately upon selection (3 or 6 months depending on student availability).
- For transcription tasks and communication products related to ASEAN Chairmanship, students will work from January 2026 to June 2026.
- Internship Format: Remote internship (online).

- Registration deadline: Before 21:00, Tuesday, 04 November 2025.
- Selected students will receive an email notification within 5 - 7 working days after the registration deadline.
- To ensure fairness and seriousness in the internship selection process, students who are selected according to their registered preference but later decline to participate will not be eligible for internship consideration in subsequent cycles.
- Selected students will be under the management of the Training Division and the host institution; they must demonstrate professionalism, submit the internship report, and comply fully with all internship regulations and procedures. Any violations will be handled depending on severity.
- Candidate selection depends on multiple factors, including the practical needs of the host institution. However, to encourage students, the Training Division will also consider cases in which students have registered many times but have not yet been selected. Therefore, applicants must provide truthful information regarding the number of times they have applied.
