Amb Dr. Pham Lan Dung received the Ambassadors of Chile to Vietnam and the Ambassador of Spain to Vietnam

Ambassador Narea expressed his gratitude for the warm reception provided by the leadership of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Both ambassadors concurred on the importance of ongoing communication and committed to deepening the substantive collaboration between their respective embassies and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Pham Lan Dung highlighted the collaborative achievements thus far between the Academy and the embassies of Chile and Spain in Hanoi. She also recounted the success of the “Feminist Foreign Policy” dialogue (titled: " Enhancing the role of women in foreign policy planning") aimed at elevating the role of women in foreign policy-making. This event was co-organized by the Diplomatic Academy, UN Women, and the ambassadors of France, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and Canada in Vietnam on October 5, 2021.

Ambassador Dr. Pham Lan Dung took the opportunity to express her desire for the Diplomatic Academy, along with the Chilean and Spanish embassies in Hanoi, to continue to foster more meaningful cooperative and exchange initiatives. She placed special emphasis on promoting gender equality and other exchange programs, including support and opportunities for the students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam to visit, intern, and engage in exchanges at the embassies.
