On December 23, 2025, students from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam participated in a Hotel Tour program at the Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel, located at 36 Le Duc Tho Street. The program was designed to provide students with practical exposure to the operations of the high-end hospitality industry, while also offering insights into the management model and development journey of the Marriott Group, one of the world’s leading hotel management corporations.

Within the framework of the program, students were introduced to an overview of the operational model of a five-star hotel, toured the professional working environment, and learned about the core elements that contribute to service quality and customer experience in accordance with international standards. Through these activities, students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the organization, management, and operational practices within the hotel management sector.

In addition to the site visit, students engaged in discussions and exchanges with representatives of the host organization, gaining deeper insights into the corporate culture of the Marriott Group. This culture is shaped by its core values: Put People First, Pursue Excellence, Embrace Change, Act with Integrity, and Serve Our World. These values have played a crucial role in establishing the Group’s strong identity and sustainable success on a global scale.

The Hotel Tour program concluded with valuable practical knowledge, helping students enhance their understanding of the professional working environment in the hospitality industry. At the same time, the program contributed to clearer career orientation and better preparation for their future professional paths.

The Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel and the Marriott Group, as well as to their staff and professionals, for their warm reception, insightful sharing, and strong support in enabling DAV students to participate in this meaningful program of study, exploration, and hands-on experience.
