September 25, 2026, the Reamey Scholarship Award Ceremony 2026, organized by the Faculty of English, was held in a formal yet warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Berlin Room, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The ceremony recognized the academic achievements and continuous efforts of 30 outstanding students from Cohorts 50, 51, and 52 of the English Language program.

The scholarship is named after Raymond E. Reamey, a former American serviceman who worked at Cam Ranh Port for 34 years. Throughout his life, Mr. Reamey wished to support students with strong academic potential and English proficiency who faced financial difficulties. Following his passing in 2007, the Reamey family continued to maintain the scholarship fund, allowing his spirit of support and commitment to education to reach successive generations of students at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

Over the past 18 years, the Reamey Scholarship Fund has served as an important source of encouragement, inspiring students to pursue knowledge, develop themselves, and contribute to society.

Unlike previous years, when the ceremony was conducted primarily in English, this year's program was held entirely in Vietnamese. Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, this change created a warm, intimate, and family-like atmosphere, bringing lecturers and students closer together.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Trần Thị Thanh Liên, Head of the Faculty of English, faculty members, and the 30 outstanding scholarship recipients of 2026. In her remarks, Dr. Liên congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence throughout their academic journey.

With this support, the scholarship recipients are encouraged to continue learning, growing, and creating their own contributions and values in the journey ahead.
