THE E-FACE 2024: Officially finding out the talented, passionate, and inspiring Student ambassador

On the evening of November 3, the Grand Finale of THE E-FACE 2024 - the competition to find a talented, passionate, and inspiring student ambassador - officially took place in Hall A of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The event was attended by sponsors, honored guests, and more than 200 students from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

THE E-FACE 2024 is a competition that seeks a talented, passionate, and inspiring student ambassador. It provides a platform for competitors to showcase their talents, resilience, and voices on timely and pressing issues, aligned with the program's theme and the unique character of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The goal is to find a student ambassador who can bridge connections within the department and contribute to the Academy's overall growth.

During the opening remark, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Lien - Head of the Judging Panel and Head of the English Faculty at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, and Mr. Pham Hai Nam - Head of the Organizing Committee, shared heartfelt messages reaffirming the mission and core values of THE E-FACE 2024. Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Lien emphasized that the competition is not just a playground but a foundation to discover and honor young talents who will become cultural bridges and sources of inspiration for current and future generations of students. The Head of the Judging Panel and the Organizing Committee also praised the TOP 06 competitors for their potential to become talented, passionate, and inspiring student ambassadors.

Inspired by the image of a white dove carrying a five-colored flag to spread cultural values, the talented competitors are seen as "future cultural ambassadors" facing the challenges and complexities of cultural diplomacy. Overcoming the rigorous Ascending Round, the TOP 36 promising competitors entered the Gliding Round and participated in intense interviews led by an experienced and skilled judging panel. In the Semi-Final Round, the TOP 12 competitors presented group projects and engaged in lively debates.

Building on their enthusiasm as "future cultural ambassadors," the final TOP 06 advanced to the Grand Finale with confidence and determination. With a focus on cultural diplomacy and the ambassadorial mission, the inspiring round saw the TOP 06 competitors shine through performances rich in cultural art forms. In the following round, each competitor showcased their eloquence on selected topics and answered questions from the judging panels. After the Eloquence Section, the TOP 03 potential competitors for the highest title were revealed and advanced to the final round - the Q&A Section, where each competitor selected a judge and responded to that judge's question.

Concluding the competition, competitor Nguyen Hong Hanh succeeded in surpassing strong candidates to claim the highest title, officially becoming the talented, passionate, and inspiring student ambassador. In addition, competitor Nguyen Duy Đai won the Second Prize and competitor Bui Pham Phuong Nha earned the Third Prize in THE E-FACE 2024.

Once again, the Organizing Committee congratulates Nguyen Hong Hanh, Nguyen Duy Đai, and Bui Pham Phuong Nha on officially becoming student ambassadors. Hopefully, this competition will serve as a solid foundation for the competitors to fulfill their roles as student ambassadors and as a stepping stone toward future milestones on their journey to affirm their knowledge and values.

As THE E-FACE 2024 journey officially comes to an end, the Organizing Committee would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all competitors, the judging panel, sponsors, partner units, and especially the audience who followed and supported the competition.
