Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between DAV and FLC Group

On July 28, the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) and FLC Group was held at FLC Landmark Tower. The event marked an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two sides, aiming to leverage their respective strengths and strengthen linkages between academia and the business community, therefore, opportunities for learning, practical experience, and the development of high-quality human resources were expanded.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of FLC Group, were Ms. Tran Thi My Lan, Deputy Director General of FLC Group; Ms. Vu Nam Trang, Deputy Director General of FLC Group; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, Standing Deputy Head of the Human Resources, alongside representatives from relevant departments and divisions of the Group. Representing the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam were Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Vice President of DAV; Dr. Nguyen Thi Cat Ngoc, Acting Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Ms. Hoang Mai Huong, Head of the Department of Political and Student Affairs; Mr. Le Quang Hung, Head of the Department of External Relations and Communications; and representatives of the leadership of various faculties, departments, and divisions of the DAV.

At the opening, Ms. Tran Thi My Lan, Deputy Director General of FLC Group, expressed her honour at establishing a cooperative relationship with DAV. She emphasized that FLC Group has always regarded human resources as a core factor. In the context of digital transformation and international integration, human resources are required not only to possess strong professional expertise but also an international outlook, foreign language proficiency, and the capacity to work in international environments. She affirmed that FLC Group is ready to welcome DAV students for internships and employment, as well as to coordinate in implementing practical cooperation programmes in the coming time.

During the discussion session, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Vice President of DAV, expressed her impression of FLC Group's achievements and development orientations while highly appreciating the effective cooperation between the Group and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recent years. Sharing DAV's development orientations, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin highlighted three key pillars: training high-quality human resources, researching and consulting policy, and providing training and capacity building for foreign affairs officials. On this basis, DAV expects its cooperation with FLC Group to open up more opportunities for students to undertake internships and gain first-hand experience in the business environment, while enhancing professional knowledge-sharing, career skills, and practical experience in international working environments.

Within the framework of the ceremony, representatives of DAV and FLC Group exchanged cooperative orientations in the future. The two sides agreed to leverage their respective strengths through professional exchanges, create opportunities for staff to learn from each other's experience, and expand opportunities for students to undertake internships and gain practical experience. Additionally, DAV also highlighted the strengths of its students in communications, diplomatic protocol, foreign languages, and working skills in international environments, with a view to developing cooperation programmes aligned with FLC Group's human resource development needs.

Following the discussion, the representatives of DAV and FLC Group signed the MOU in the presence of the attending delegates. The agreement lays the foundation for the two sides to enhance cooperation in training, scientific research, student internships, recruitment, and activities connecting academia with the business community, thereby making effective use of their respective resources and building high-quality human resources capable of meeting the demands of international integration and development.

The MOU Signing Ceremony between DAV and FLC Group concluded successfully, marking the beginning of a sustainable cooperative relationship between the two sides. The ceremony not only opened up practical opportunities in training, research, and human resource development, but also strengthened linkages between educational institutions and businesses, laying a foundation for effective cooperation programmes and contributing to the development of high-quality human resources capable of meeting the requirements of national development and international integration./.
