On the morning of June 26, 2025, the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies (IFPSS), Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) hosted a delegation of young leaders from Timor-Leste under the Future Lider ba ASEAN (FLBA) program. Initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, the program is designed to support the country’s preparations for full ASEAN membership while fostering mutual understanding between the younger generations of both nations. It also aims to promote collaborative initiatives across key areas such as diplomacy, economic development, education, and sustainable growth.
On the morning of June 3, 2025, at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, President of the DAV, received H.E. Nubiela Ayala Modes, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Panama to Viet Nam, on the occasion of her courtesy visit marking the start of her tenure.
On the morning of May 30 at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Thị Lan Anh, Vice President of the DAV, held a discussion with Ms. Kirsty Pelenur, Lead Adviser for South and South East Asia at New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), to discuss prospects for cooperation between Viet Nam and New Zealand following their recent upgrade of bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
On the morning of May 29, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam received and held a working session with Ambassador Rogelio Sierra Díaz, Rector of the Raúl Roa García Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) of Cuba. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, Acting President of the Academy.
